Sand moulds can only be used once, and therefore each product is unique – no two items are exactly alike.

The grinding part nestles into the holding vessel, a simple movement effortlessly grinds the dry spices and the small pouring lip allows you to deliver your finely ground spices exactly where you want them. The molten iron is then cast into special moulds, made from sand which can withstand the extreme temperatures.

Interior is seasoned with natural Swedish organic canola oil; exterior is treated with a black lacquer to avoid staining.

Handmade in Sweden, Skeppshult's cast iron requires little maintenance and the mill comes with a beautiful walnut wood lid.
