The fair has over 45 dealers, some are regular stallholders but we also have many new faces each month and there is always a wide range of stalls from dateline antiques through to vintage.  The fair has a cafe serving hot and cold food all day as well as free parking with step-free access.

We provide a table, chairs and electrical sockets and also offer a debit and credit card machine service - so you no longer miss out on a sale if your buyer has run out of cash!  All stalls need to be covered with a cloth which reaches the floor on the front.  We require payment up front either by cheque, card payment or via BACS.

If you are interested in booking a stall, please contact Jane on 01480 382432 or 07906 647346.

Cafe

We have a fantastic cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea so whenever you come to look around, there is a range of food and drinks to tempt you, including the much talked about homemade samosas!

If you visit the fair early, why not enjoy a sausage or bacon sandwich which are freshly made to order.  Or come along in time for lunch, choosing from a range of sandwiches, quiches or baked potatoes, all made from fresh ingredients on the premises.

Our cafe serves hot and cold drinks and a selection of cakes and snacks throughout the day, as well as selling cakes, biscuits, jams and chutneys to take away with you.  Plus there are colouring books and crayons on each table to keep the children amused whilst the grownups take it in turns to browse the fair.

Previous Fairs Blog

JANUARY 2019

Great to see so many visitors this month and the fair was crammed to the rafters with stalls so there was plenty to see.  Amanda from Huntingdon had never been to the fair before, but she loves antiques and alongside lots of other purchases, she fell in love with a 15 carat gold 1920s ring with a garnet and emeralds and filligree adornments on the gold.  Lovely to see her wearing it straight away!

DECEMBER 2018

There's nothing like the smell of mince pies to get you in the festive spirit and they certainly help you browse the stalls loaded with an abundance of fabulous antiques and vintage wares.  We had a new dealer of French decorative salvage and antiques plus a treen bear skiing - compulsory at Christmas.

Ray from Letchworth hadn't visited the fair before but saw our yellow road signs and left with two tribal masks, a tribal shield and a vintage camera with case and tripod.

OCTOBER 2018

SEPTEMBER 2018

It's great to be back after our summer break and to see so many people coming through the door.  Our card machine was very busy today and good to see so many visitors finding that special item to buy.

One such family were Paul, Val and Wesley from Letchworth.  They are regulars to the fair, Wesley being an avid vintage collector.  But their purchase today was special as the fair happened to be on their 29th wedding anniversary and so Paul bought Val this beautiful necklace.  Congratulations to you both!

With Halloween there was plenty to scare the crowds this month including this skull and potions.  Joan paid for a purchase on our card machine and laughed that she might have trouble taking that purchase home with her ... she had bought a gun case but as she lives in Spain, she might have some explaining to do at airport security!

JUNE 2018

This month saw the highest ever usage of our card machine so the public were clearly intent on buying. One couple bought a Rolex which the husband had been wanting to buy since they got married and today was the day.  The only downside is that the husband is a little scared to actually wear it!

Great feedback from buyers and dealers today. A customer said "this is a lovely fair with lots of choice of items to buy.  Some fairs are a bit same, but not yours".  A stallholders told us "this is a lovely fair, you should be really proud".  And we are!

MAY 2018

Calling all enamel collectors!  The fair had a wealth of high quality guilloche enamel for sale, beautiful trinket boxes, mirrors, spoons and compacts.  We also had a fabulous vintage dealer selling blankets, small furniture and clothes.

Paulina from Elsworth bought a layer's egg made of Victorian porcelain designed to help your chickens lay whilst Julie from Caldecote purchased a vintage bracelet which perfectly matched her top, bag and nails.  It was meant to be!

APRIL 2018

If you like Lea Stein, then this month's fair was a real treat with plenty of gorgeous brooches to choose from.  Val from Eversden was lucky to be able to add the Scottie dog (pictured centre) to her collection, as her husband Peter bought it for her as an early birthday present.

There was also fabulous silver, marble topped furniture, French decorative antiques, books and so much more.

A huge thank you to our wonderful stall holders who braved the snow yesterday.  Despite the very chilly weather, there was a great turnout from the public and our cafe worked hard to keep everyone's spirits high serving hot drinks and food all day.

A number of new dealers joined us this month bringing china, medicine bottles and silver jewellery.

MARCH 2018

FEBRUARY 2018

Our February fair was a huge success.  Packed with stall holders selling every type of antique including an authentic rare Clarice Cliff teapot and tea set, Indonesian wood carvings, vintage memorabilia, quality jewellery, collectors cabinets and other small furniture.

This month, we saw one of the highest numbers of visitors on record.  Plus our card machine was in high demand for those who had run out of cash and it was great to see hundreds of visitors leaving with bags full of treasures.

JANUARY 2018

Meet Paul and Kate from Letchworth who bought this 1940s Union Jack at the Antique & Vintage Fair on Sunday. They love the 1940s, so much so, their wedding in April is 1940s themed. They plan to use the Union Jack as a prop at their wedding and thereafter it will have pride of place in their home. We wish you both every happiness and hope to see you at the fair again soon!  Plus keeping with this era, we had a new vintage dealer this month.

Listen again to us on BBC Three Counties Radio this morning as we took part in Postcode Wars - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05s5sx4 - 2 hours in to the show.  We didn't win (boo!) but we did talk about the Antique & Vintage Fair.

What a festive day we had with visitors enjoying free mulled wine and mince pies.  Plenty of vintage and antique toys were being snapped up as presents and if you needed a cow hide, you could have bought one.

DECEMBER 2017 CHRISTMAS FAIR

NOVEMBER 2017

Deborah and Mark must have travelled the furthest to our fair as they are from Richmond, Australia. Okay, they were actually visiting family nearby, but it was their first visit and they were buying for their shop back home.
They bought 10 rings plus a number of brooches and snuff boxes - all small things which can fit in their luggage on the plane! They said the fair was "fabulous and we have got some really good deals" and promised to be back next year.  Also on offer this month was plenty of Indonesian art, a new fossils and minerals dealer, plus some gorgeous Lea Stein brooches and Scandinavian silver.

Yesterday's fair was lots of fun and we met lots of people visiting for the first time. Mecia from Arlesey bought a miniature kaleidoscope, she was very happy with her purchase and keen to look for more unusual finds next time.  Also for the first time, we have the most mysterious of mystery objects as even we don't know it is.  If you think you know then join in the guesses on our Facebook page - www.facebook.com/madisoneventsuk.  You could win a year's free entry to the fair.

OCTOBER 2017

SEPTEMBER 2017

Winning Postcode Wars on BBC Three Counties Radio must have helped to remind everyone about the Antique & Vintage Fair's return after the summer break, as both halls were heaving with visitors. Sally from Langford comes to the fair every month and this time bought a totally unique lamp made from the best quality materials and she told us that we'll never see another one!  Monique from Welwyn Garden City bought this picture which she is going to reframe and put in her living room. Mr & Mrs Armstrong from Bedford were two more happy customers who said they love our fair and bought a pair of Tiffany lamps and a pair of Mackintosh candlesticks.

JUNE 2017

Our last Antique & Vintage Fair, before our summer break, certainly didn't disappoint. Alena and her partner from Cambridge, visited for the first time and bought this fabulous old cinema seat. She said it's surprisingly comfortable given its unusual look and the best bit about it is it folds up out of the way. Also it's on wheels so it's practical too for working on in their studio. More happy customers!

MAY 2017

One visitor named Pru, who thought she spent too much at our April fair, managed to quadruple her spending this month buying Christmas presents for her siblings, including a Chinese silk scarf, a netsuke, a Beswick horse, plus another for herself and finally this bronze sculpture.  Another family who visit the fair regularly each found something to buy - a set of green glasses and jug, a Spode china plate and a masonic jewel.  Happy customers!

APRIL 2017

Easter Sunday certainly pulled in the crowds with one of our highest ever attendances.  One visitor told us that she loves coming to fairs like ours.  She popped in to have a look but managed to spend £120 but she walked out with a big grin as she was delighted with the items she bought to add to her collections.  The winners of the Easter egg were a couple who visit the fair regularly and they part-exchanged the chocolate egg with one of our dealers in exchange for a netsuke and a Chinese folding shelf!

MARCH 2017

Jane from Clophill visited the fair for the first time and bought a reindeer pelt to put on a fireside chair in her living room.  A great addition if you're after the hunting lodge look.  Plus we had a high number of new dealers this month with some remarkable items, including our mystery object.  Have a look on Facebook and see if you know what it is!

FEBRUARY 2017

BEST FAIR ON RECORD!!!  We had the largest crowd we have ever had today, there were queues at the door and down the aisles, plus our card machine was in constant use and took the highest amount of transactions to date.  There was a fantastic range of antiques for sale too.  A huge thank you to everyone who visited the Antique & Vintage Fair today and thank you for supporting us and making it the success it is today.

Listen to us on BBC Three Counties Radio this morning at 2 hours 49 minutes in on the

30 Second Challenge on the

Justin Dealey Breakfast Show:

JANUARY 2017

Great to welcome so many dealers with top quality stock on Sunday.  If you were after a pair of C19th candlesticks, blue & white china to add to your collection or tribal art, Biggleswade Antique & Vintage Fair was the place to find it.  A very busy and bustling fair and lots of new faces on the lookout for something special.  The cafe did a great trade too with baked potatoes and fresh sandwiches, also selling manuka honey, curds and jams to take away with you.

DECEMBER 2016 CHRISTMAS FAIR

There was plenty of festive cheer with mulled wine and mince pies to enjoy whilst browsing.  One visitor Noa is getting married in 2017 and was delighted to find a necklace and matching earrings which she plans to wear on the big day. Plus always nice to meet new people, one such couple told us they had never visited the fair before and were impressed with how many stalls there were.  Pleased to hear that they will be back next month!

NOVEMBER 2016

Nice to see such great quality items such as a Mulberry bag, quality costume and fine jewellery, ornate boxes, vintage items including tins, dolls and toys.  We are already fully booked for December, but do call and join our waiting list if you're interested in booking a stall.

OCTOBER 2016

You cannot beat a fully booked fair bustling with people. Yesterday's Antique & Vintage Fair was packed with buyers leaving with lamps, antique maps, whiskey glasses and jewellery to name but a few.  We had a number of new dealers, one selling beautiful bronzes, another selling stamps and one new stall holder was selling the most unusual and unique lamps.  All had a good day and have rebooked for future fairs.

Talking of future fairs, we are already fully booked for the November 2016 fair but we are running a waiting list so do get in touch if you're interested in booking a stall.
